ANSWER:

Delaying zakat like this is not permissible, and you must pay it on the exact time, unless there is a legitimate necessity for this delay.

 

I live in the UK, ive calculated my zakah and given it to my parents. They want to distribute it to the extreme poor ppl in their village in pakistan. But they go pakistan maybe once every year or once every 1.5 years.. i know delaying zakat is sinful. But is my zakah valid or nullfied due to long delay?. My parents think i dont know wht im doin.so they do it. May Allah bless them
