It was reported that Ibn Abbas may Allah be pleased with him used to recite the Fatiha loudly to teach the people.

The Sunnah is to recite everything silently except the Takbeer and Tasleem.

However, if the Imam thought that reciting it loudly is better to teach the people, this is permissible once every now and then but not always.

I have performed the funeral prayer out loud, where the imam says the prayer loudly and not in silence as is the practice say in Masjid-al-Haram. Is this correct

Sheikh I was reading the book Ar-Raheeq Al-Mukhtum and towards the end of the book, it says that the Prophet Muhammad(saw) went to Uhud to perform a farewell prayer to the martyrs of Uhud. I just wanted to ask what would this prayer be classed as, as it cannot be the funeral prayer and is there a tradition in Islam after the Prophet Muhammad(saw) for that prayer.
