If you can’t find remorse, your repentance is not genuine nor accepted.

You need to soften you heart by being kind to orphans, visiting graveyards and hospitals, reciting the Quran more and more and by reading the biography of our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

Making Duaa is also beneficial. Our Prophet used to seek refuge in Allah from a heart that is not submissive and from an eye that doesn’t cry.

How to soften my heart? | Assim Al Hakeem (video

I have done a whole bunch of sins and I want to repent, it’s just that I don’t feel regret. I have tried lots of things like thinking about the Hellfire, reading Quran etc. Why would Allah make repenting so difficult for me? I don’t understand! Do you know? I really want to be good but I just don’t feel the remorse.
