I am from Bangladesh and I stay separately with my husband. My parent in-laws are not happy with the decision and would come to my house only when i would invite all of them specially my sister in law & her husband to my house once. Although I visit my parent in laws and send food, Is invitation to so many non maharam necessary, to please them?

ANSWER:

You are not obliged to invite his family often, however, if this would make your husband happy, you can try to invite them more often to your convenience. You must not come out in front of non-mahrams or mix with them whatsoever. The invitation must also be segregated as you shouldn’t allow them to mix with non mahram in your house.
