The father in law will always be mahram to her until either one of them dies however, her guardian/wali is her biological father.

If the father in law allows her to stay in his house, she must observe proper hijab in front of his sons as they are all non mahram to her.

Can a father in law be a guardian n mahram to the widow of his son.Pls mention with refrence ofquran n hadith. And what if he allows her to stay in his joint family house With other sons n families .Are the sons of his daughter be mahram to that widow??
