I got a lecturer job in a well reputed organization after chasing this dream for 18 years. My husband stands beside me in this scenario. He allows me to do this job but unfortunately, my father in law is refraining me from doing this job. He is not allowing me. What to do in this case? It is so disturbing for me.

My husband went to America for business meeting for 2 weeks.when he came back randomly I was seeing his phone .I saw his chat with a head of prostitutes and to go there.When I asked him he said I was sleepy and talked..but accepted that didn’t do anything bad.and begged for forgiveness.and promised.and from then he stared going there more often.should I believe him or tell my parents about it?

ANSWER: You had no right in spying on him like this. If you want to end your marriage, you can talk to your parents or anyone else. However, this is considered slandering and in Islam you should be flogged 80 lashes for failing to bring 4 male muslim witnesses testifying that he was committing adultery.

I liked a girl and approached to her parents. They accepted me and ready to give her daughter in my nikah. I’m a daee and they liked my religious attitude. ANSWER: You must remind him that backbiting is a major sin and leave his company until he speaks of something else if he doesn’t stop.

Sheikh If a wife is trying her best to obey her husband,always trying to do what he likes, appreciating him but d husband is always shouting and complaining,never over looking a small mistake but she remains patient and continue trying. Will she be sinful because her husband is not satisfied?

ANSWER: If she’s doing her best yet he’s not satisfied, she’s not sinful. Allah will reward her for her patience and will punish him for his ingratitude.

I’m not interested in having a baby right now as I’m studying. My husband has agreed to it. I’ve been having OCP for 1 year which is making me sick. Doctor’s advised me to substitute OCP with a condom as. I’ve stopped taking OCP. But I can’t trust condoms as they may rupture anytime; as me & my 2 elders were born accidentally from our parents with ruptured condoms. I’m prevent him for few months?

ANSWER: This is not permissible for you to delay giving him his rights in bed! Refusing him means that the angels curse you every night till the break of dawn! What life is this for a husband who can’t get his rights because his wife wants to study?

If my husband is shouting on my mother in law in front of me with words like, “use your brain otherwise don’t irritate me, you are brainless and so our maternal relatives”, as his wife, what should i do? And if i don’t say anything because of the fear that my husband might fight with me, am i wrong? Please help.

ANSWER: You must not say a word and simply not be in the same place and when he is in a good mood, talk about the major sin of being disrespectful to parents without taking his name, with diplomacy, wisdom and knowledge.

Sheikh I want to know whether in islam is only the husband allowed to get angry and burst out n shout at wife or the wife is also allowed to express her anger whenever he is wrong? Because I feel I am not allowed to be angry at all, even if I try he asks me watch my tone n behave, how is this fair sheikh?
