QUESTION: Sheikh, Is it permissible for me to pray to get married to a person who is not a believer? I’ve been praying 6 times a day including tahajjud to Allah to make him a believer and to guide him. Should I continue or should I quit knowing that Allah didn’t choose him as a Muslim in the first place? Also, is it advised for me to ask them to believe in allah or not as it should be their own decision ?

ANSWER: You should not pray for such a person! Ask Allah for someone who is a real Muslim and who would protect you and be a good father to your children. So many marriages to such “reverts” end up miserably because their Islam was not genuine or because their Islam was weak.

QUESTION: Sheikh, when should things like not all women bleed on the wedding night, pregnancy can change a woman’s body, the hymen, etc be taught to men? Because ignorance of those issues cause men to either divorce their wife for not bleeding or body shame their wife

QUESTION: Sheikh I got married and my parents never let me know about my fiancé anything neither he tried to talk now I’m married I don’t like him I don’t feel any connection or love towards him even I tried to but I failed everytime we didn’t have any relationship between us ( physically ) because it makes me anxious everytime i tried to I don’t want to be with him please help me

QUESTION: Sheikh, Will I be sinful to marry a guy who believes in Dargah, do Fatiha, Niyaz etc? In India if we want to marry a righteous person who doesn’t believe in dargah fatiha kunde niyaz etc they think they’re not sunni. I personally believe that I’m a muslim and i don’t believe in sects.

QUESTION: When me and my husband get in an argument and he becomes extremely angry. He says, he would drop me off to my parents house. Is this permissible in Islam and being a wife how should I react?

QUESTION: Can a husband ignore his responsibility to his wife and childrens over a small argument with his wife? He did not return home for days & sometimes weeks. No calls or msgs to check on us also. Happened a few times already. He will leave the house as and when he is not happy. Is this allowed in islam?

QUESTION: I made intention to leave one full fist of beard but my mom don’t want me to and she is saying that she won’t talk to me and her health is not good if she take too much stress. She is telling me that i can have medium beard but less then one fist and she will allow to leave me beard after my marriage. QUESTION: Am I sinful if I ask in dua to Allah that my husband don’t do 2nd marriage? I know it’s optional in Islam and also it’s allowed to do 4 marriages but still I don’t feel good about him doing 2nd marriage, because I have gone through this phase of life where my husband was about to do 2nd marriage, and I cried alot by making dua and in the end it was rejected

QUESTION: I had suspected that my husband watches obscene videos and images of women. To confirm if I’m right i went through his phone in his absence & confirmed that he does. He shows himself innocent while any such explicit video pops on screen in front of me & also reports it like its wrong. Whereas he does something else behind my bck. What can i do to make him realise his doing & make him feel guilty

QUESTION: My brother is oppressing his wife, he doesn’t allow her to go anywhere, he doesn’t allow her to visit her parents or her siblings even when there’s events like marriage or child birth, he only allows her to come with him a a few hours when there’s an even in our house, our mother spoke to him but he aggressively defended himself and said he will never allow her any freedom, what should we do?
