ANSWER: If you have advised them, you have done your job and you’re not accountable if they don’t. It’s your father’s responsibility to order them to wear the proper islamic hijab. Keep advising them with good manners, wisdom and knowledge but do not nag them.

ANSWER: No problem in this as long as it’s done officially and the house would actually belong to you both (not just on paper) and he would have no right on it.

Shaikh my parents are disregarding the marriage proposal I like by saying that it will ruin my future generations if I marry a girl who was adopted, please tell me if this is a shariah reason to deny a proposal and how to convince my parents? The girl is practicing and have a good character.

ANSWER: No, this is not a reason at all to reject a proposal. If she’s a practicing Muslimah with correct aqeedah then you can go ahead and marry her even without your parents approval as a man does not require anyone’s permission to get married except the consent of the girl’s guardian!

Sheikh, my parents backbites about others 24/7.. Its difficult for me to defending others or to convince my parents not to do it. And my relation with my parents become worse for stay away from them for their backbiting.What should I do now? As hearing them, I m also become sinful.

ANSWER: You need to be diplomatic and smart while dealing with them. Try to change the topic or leave to get some water when they start backbiting so that you won’t be there with them.

We gt an invitation of 31st night and Birthday party.My family is gonna go and join.there’s no such prblem so it may get canceled(at least there might be 1 we’re gnna join). I’m 14 yrs old girl. ANSWER: Politely tell your parents that you cannot do this as it would be collaborating and facilitating in sin.

Sheikh My question is regarding my mother, There are times when she gets difficult, she talks about certain family topic thathas no relation to the present she keeps repeating them it is effecting her mentally.
