QUESTION: My brother is 19years old. He dont talk with his parents. If they want to talk, he abuse them. My mother sends food to his room. He is alwz in his room locked. He dont go to masjid. Alwz in his room playing in laptop. My mother cries for him. Makes dua. Sometimes he abuse mother without any reason. His anger is always on high. Is there any solutn to this in a islamic way. Becz we wont go to shirk

ANSWER: It is their mistake for allowing him to be disrespectful and still provide him with food and service. Your mother shouldn’t clean or cook for him until he behaves and act like a grownup man. QUESTION: I’m a 28yo male (un employed) I stay with my parents. Can my mom do laundry, bedding and cooking for me or should I do on my own? I mean like is it her responsibility or mine. I depend on her cooking and laundry bcoz I don’t know about them & I depend on her for bedding and cleaning my utensils cuz I’m lazy & also i think that it’s her job.

ANSWER: If you are unemployed and not contributing anything in the house then you should help out around the house instead of being a burden on her.

QUESTION: Been married to my husband for 5 years and have 1 small daughter. In laws keep on telling vulgar things about my family. They never can accept my husband having good relation with them. My mother in law is the main person to use my father in law as a weapon to always trigger my husband. Son has stopped contact with them for our peace orelse they just make everything worse. ANSWER: He is sinful for not contacting them. He should go and be dutiful and respectful to them but must not reply to their abuse or defend you or your family. Let them talk as if they are crazy talking to themselves without replying to them.

ANSWER: You can give him dawah diplomatically, with wisdom, knowledge and fair preaching but you cannot forcefully take it out as its not your right.

QUESTION: When my parents come to visit me and my children my wife misbehaves with them and fights with me afterwards saying that my parents have no right to come in my house. My parents live in their own house normally. I know that my wife has the right to a separate house in Islam but can she refuse to allow my parents to come to my house for a visit also?

ANSWER: She has no right to stop them from visiting you in your house as this is your house! She can object to them living there but not to visiting you!

QUESTION: Sheikh my 20 year old younger brother is very rude to my mother. I tried to speak to him gently but he keeps doing it. I tried to be patient but it’s very difficult when it occurs often.
