QUESTION: My elder sister is having a boyfriend and i knew about it. I’ve told her to leave him as it is haram but she doesn’t leave him as she want to marry him.i did everything that i could .I’ve told her to get married if u like him but the boy is unemployed .What should i do to make her understand? And if she doesn’t understand am i held accountable for stop taking to her?!

ANSWER: If not talking to her would make her stop seeing him, you must stop talking to her.

QUESTION: A father tells his daughter to work or take welfare from the government because he needs money and has debts in his bank account. The daughter does not look for a job because she doesn’t want to compromise her Deen, is not financially responsible for him, plans and works currently on her business from home, then she plans to pay for the groceries in shā Allah.

ANSWER: There is nothing specified as such. It’s your own money and you’re obliged to give at least the basics to your wife and children and as for parents you are only obliged to give them if they don’t have any money of their own.

QUESTION: Our dad passed away few years ago. Im only son and eldest sibling. 1 sister married, 1 unmarried. They dont do hijab from non mehrams and Free mix. Sisters husband doesnt say anything to his wife (my sis). I tell both to wear hijab, especially unmarried sis. They still dont listen and do what they please. ANSWER: He has no right in asking you to leave the house. He is the one who is supposed to leave the house and provide for his wife a separate accommodation.

QUESTION: Mothers are very important in our life and Allah SWT ask us to respect and obey our mothers right? I want to dress modest by wearing khimar jilbab but anytime I wear my jilbab going out my mom start to saying I dress like old women and I don’t look how other hijabi girls dress. ANSWER: Don’t be sad, be patient as you’re doing this for Allah’s sake and He will reward you tremendously for obeying Him. Smile when she says such things and never argue or be disrespectful towards her in any situation while holding your ground when it comes to islam.

QUESTION: Well, please tell me if parents are giving trouble, burden, cursing, obscenities, preferring son, Being a girl, spending money is considered a waste and even denying basic rights like clothes, food, education and even disease. ANSWER: They are accountable to Allah for not taking care of their children or being fair with them and will be punished for that.

QUESTION: Sheikh is that haram to keep a friendship who makes us closer to our Deen (surely not with the opposite gender) even if our parents don’t want us to have such friendships because they’re scared if we get brainwashed? If we keep our friendship, will we be disobeying our parents?

QUESTION: My parent’s got separated when I was two..My father wasn’t willing to take me with him and he was regretful that i born..He dint see me after that nor I saw him in my life…He dint meet my needs and nor does he send any money for me…I’m i sinful for not doing the rights of a daughter like doing his khidmah.

ANSWER: Yes, you are sinful. It’s obligatory upon you to maintain ties of kinship with him. He will be accountable for his deeds in front of Allah and so will you be if you don’t connect with him and fulfill your duties towards him.
