QUESTION: Are we sinful for having feelings for someone? as long as we are not in any kind of contact and we do not act upon it in any way? It is not possible for me to marry tht person.

ANSWER: Having such feelings is natural. What is not permissible is to commit sin in the process such as looking without lowering the gaze, communicating, socializing or being around such a person. This is totally prohibited.

ANSWER: Cut all communications and contact with her immediately and block her from everywhere. There is no such thing as platonic relationship in Islam! It’s totally prohibited to be friends with non mahram opposite gender, PERIOD!
