QUESTION: Is it mandatory for a girl to serve her mother and father all her life, and don’t get married, while others refuse to serve them!? What’s ruling in Islam?

ANSWER: If there is no one to take care of them and if they’re not self sufficient and the would be husband wouldn’t agree her to take care of them after marriage then yes, she must give priority to looking after them.

QUESTION: I know that a wife is supposed to obey her husband in Islam. But if a husband doesn’t allow his wife to meet her parents even if they’re in critical condition and may die if they don’t get help, should the wife still obey him? Will she be sinful for still going to her parents to help them? If yes, then plz explain why.

ANSWER: If there is no one to help them for real, this becomes an obligation upon their daughter and she must do that even if her husband divorces her. She should be diplomatic with him and try to convince him peacefully.

QUESTION: Sheikh, is i am sinful if i go out with my wife and children without asking my mother’s permission? as she always create a fuss when we leave the house without taking her with us, she curse me for leaving her alone in house…I don’t know if this is right or wrong as my wife also don’t want her to go with us. Is my wife has right to object?

QUESTION: Sheikh sometimes my family go outside, to restaurants etc. I want to go with them and enjoy family time. But the women of my family dont abide by the hijab and wear makeup and perfume.im the youngest in my family and hence my advice would not have any importance and instead would cause a fight. ANSWER: No problem if a brother gets married before his sister is married. He is not obliged to wait or to obey his mother in such illogical reason. If he is financially independent, he should go ahead and get married.

QUESTION: I wanted to know that what will be the ruling if husband had gifted all his property to wife in his lifetime in written with two male witnesses,but he took care of all the matters related to property be it renting or giving tax etc,( he handed over the rent money to wife and asked for the money when needed)after his death what should be the ruling of inheritance will it be wifes?

ANSWER: If she possessed that property and the deeds were in her name, this is her’s and no one has any right in it with her.

QUESTION: Sheikh, I stay home all day bcos I do remote job. During work I ask mom to give me food or water etc. If I was working at office I would need to do it all by myself. My mom is often busy with home chores and get frustrated sometimes to answer me. As man are supposed to go work outside, am I obligated to get food and water etc by myself or is it my mom/wife’s job to do this for me?

QUESTION: I cannot stand my sister. I try my best to love her for the sake of Allah but I just can’t. I literally don’t even want to look at her. She is mean to everyone and almost all my siblings had a fight with her just cause of how bad she treats everyone including my mom and she’s only 17. Also, my mom can’t get her to do anything without pleading to her. Am I sinful for not liking her?
