QUESTION: My husband goes to dargah and ask Allah through the dead they think the dead are pious and will deliver the message to Allah and Allah will quickly response to them and will answer the Dua. Is this major shirk or minor shirk. And if it’s minor shirk can I leave with him like a normal spouses leave.

ANSWER: No, there is no kufr or shirk but it was sinful talking about such sins and exposing it to one another without caring about Allah listening to you!

QUESTION: Is it permissible to keep the child’s name with the same starting letter of mother or father? Many people say that the child’s name should not start with the same letter of parents as this creates colliding of stars means if one is suffering with any thing this will happen same to the child as well. QUESTION: My father sometimes says ‘Jesus Christ’ as an expression. He was informed that it is haram. If he responds with something along the lines of “I don’t believe that Jesus ﷺ can really hear me, I just say it because others say it too”, then what would be the ruling? ANSWER: This is minor shirk providing he doesn’t call Jesus or believe that he can help him or give him refuge. If he believes that he can do these things, then this is major shirk

ANSWER: As long as you are dependent on them financially and fear they would block you from worshipping Allah if they came to know about your Islam, you can keep the thread but must hate it in your heart.

QUESTION: Can i follow aadhans from mosque who rejects sahih hadiths or mosque which does shirk. I am in a locality where i have two mosque near me both the mosque either does shirk or rejects sahih hadiths (eg: Rejecting hadith and believing a spell does not casted upon mohammad s.w.t). or should i follow the salafi mosque (far from my home but has a app that sync aadhan time)

ANSWER: No problem in replying to the adhan but you must not pray behind such people and you must attend the congregation in the salafi masjid.

QUESTION: My mother forces me to wear taweez. So, I opened the taweez and burned the paper inside. Is this sufficient? Can iI fill it with an empty paper and seal it since i cannot show my mother that i dont have a taweez. Will that also be considered shirk? The paper had grids with number in it and some arabic text under that. What does that mean?
