QUESTION: My wife’s family practices non-Sunnah rituals like Khatam on the 3rd, 7th, 40th day and yearly for the deceased, and seek help from Hazrats against evil. I avoid these as they aren’t from Quran or Sunnah. They call me Wahabi or extreme. I stay respectful, attend normal visits, and my wife supports me. Am I wrong for avoid their invitations?

ANSWER: No, you’re not wrong! In fact, what you’re doing is what needs to be done. Your wife shouldn’t also go to such gatherings. Calling the dead for protection is shirk.

ANSWER: This person is a soothsayer and asking him or going to him ranges from a major sin that invalidates the prayers of 40 days and apostasy and leaving the fold of Islam if they believe what he says.

QUESTION: I had travelled for umrah few weeks ago and i cleaned the quran shelves with a wet wipe in haram and got back that tissue which had dust of that shelve as a souvenir. I was not aware of not carrying anything from mecca back home. What should i do with that tissue now? I did istigfar after knowing its haram.

There’s this Manifestation Method going viral on the internet, where if you like someone you write a letter to your self as their POV, fold it 3 times, keep it under your pillow and sleep on it for a night. Few days later you’ll start to notice the person you wrote letter as their POV will start showing interest in you. I want to ask is this some kind of black magic?
