QUESTION: I have rented my shop to a Shia tailor. He has hung items containing numbers, writings, and a lion holding a sword, which appear like talismans or magic symbols believed to bring good fortune. I asked him to remove them, but he refused. If these items involve shirk or magic, am I sinful—or even guilty of kufr—for continuing to rent the shop to him after advising him?

ANSWER: If you did not know that before renting him the shop, there is no sin on you but you must not renew the contract after it ends if he doesn’t remove things related to magic or kufr if you are certain of it.

ANSWER: You must not pray in a Barelvi masjid. Find a masjid that follows the Quran and Sunnah. If there is no masjid in your vicinity, pray home.

ANSWER: This is absolutely haram! Believing it takes a person out of the fold of Islam. Reading or watching it without believing makes the prayers of 40 days void.

QUESTION: Is giving money to a mazar shirk if it’s done to please Allah? What about just donation? Is just giving money regardless of any type of reason makes it kufur?

QUESTION: Many non muslims in India look out for houses constructed according to `vastu shastra’ before purchasing. During selling i don’t know i can come accross such customers as well.
