Sheikh I’m from pakistan and only 14. I wanted to ask you about rafa ul dain I didn’t do it but then I started to do it because of the sahih hadiths that I read.But then some people from tablighi jamah saw me and told me this is not real and I shouldn’t do it they said that the munafic used to keep idols in their arm pits the prophet did rafa ul dain so the idols would fall.plz clear the confusion

ANSWER: What they said is baseless and a blatant lie! Raising the hands in the first takbeer would have been sufficient to make such idols fall down and there was no need to raise them every rakah!

ANSWER: What he is saying is totally baseless! Don’t take knowledge from such innovators.

Consider a shia who believes the Quran is altered because he heard someone say so. He doesn’t believe Ali is God. He lives far away from sunni Muslim areas. He never was presented with evidence. Do we declare this shia as Kafir without giving him a chance to listen to the truth??

ANSWER: Ashura is not related at all to the death of Hussain, may Allah be pleased with him and all the companions. We fast because it’s the Sunnah and Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam used to fast it because Musa alaihissalam was granted victory by Allah against Pharoah and his people.

In my place people sing a song starting “ya nabi salam alaika” . It has some words like you are forgiver of our sins or something like it. Can we pray behind someone who says it. If someone sings it without knowing it’s meaning does takfeer ( it its kufr) apply on him.

ANSWER: This is absolutely false and fabricated. This is a totally deviant aqeedah.

Sheikh, I know tablighi jamaat is an innovation, but for example, here in London i start let say dawah organisation with 20 people or so, in which we give dawah to non Muslims and Muslim and sometimes if we need to, we go to mosque and give lectures. This will not be considered innovation, even though it is something new, but tablighi is why?
