After every fard salah when i recite dhikr in masjid the imam immediately start suplication and people following say”allahumma amen”in a loud voice & I feel very hard to recite dhikr sometimes foget what to say. So my question is if immediately after fard salah i say “astagfirullah 3 + allhahumma antassalam..”& return back to my home and say the rest of dhikr at home is the reward same as masjid?

ANSWER: It’s correct to leave the masjid immediately after praying the fard because congregational dua after salah is an innovation. You can leave them and go to the back of the masjid to finish your athkar. You can even recite your dhikr while going on the way to your home.

I would like to know if this statement is correct, “If a word does not praise Allah, it is not dhikr”. (Example) Saying the phrases below as said by some sects, you are not praising Allah because it is not a complete sentence. Allah, Allah, Allah.. Allah-hu, Allaah-hu, Allaah-hu.. Hu, Hu, Hu..

ANSWER: Saying these words (Allah, Allahu, hu hu etc) are all not permissible and done by deviant Sufis.

I recently saw a video in which a Qari was telling about a wazifa that if you recite surah Quraish after every meal you will lose 3 kgs in 3 days or something like that. I wanted to know are such things legit? Will this work?

ANSWER: Yes. Covering the head while reciting the Qur’an if no non mahrams are present is an innovation.

Is allow to eat birthday food and collect gifts without participation in the event. My neighbour at home and colleague in the office celebrate birthday but i do not participate, they bring and keep food for me. I usually pour away the foods. Is the fòod haram to eat.

ANSWER: No problem in eating halal food and accepting gifts if they bring it to you, providing you didn’t participate in the gathering and celebration.
