QUESTION: If someone believes that after someone’s death, it is possible that rain or eclipse happens because of the death of this person, is believing so major shirk?

ANSWER: It depends on his intention, if he believes Allah made this happen then its minor shirk but if he believes that this happened due to this person’s death on its own then its major shirk.

ANSWER: People who die on kufr or shirk will never be forgiven and it is not permissible for their muslim children to ask Allah for forgiveness.

QUESTION: Is it riya, which is considered a form of minor shirk, only for acts of worship or also for other worldly reasons too? like for example someone showing of his muscles or cars to others, is this also minor shirk or is it a major sin?

ANSWER: Showing off in worldly matters is not riya.

QUESTION: I have been diagnosed with rectal cancer alhamdullilah and undergoing treatment. I read Quran daily considering it as healing.Iam regular in my salah and adhkar too. A friend shared a video of a medical experiment which says that we can make our body heal faster by talking to it or giving strong and specific commands to it.Of course healing is from Allah swt alone.Will it count as shirk?

ANSWER: This is not permissible and this is considered to be minor shirk I know someone who has cancer and can you tell me the steps of how to use camel urine and milk?

ANSWER: What they believe and do is totally prohibited and they are deviated and not part of Islam due to such corrupt beliefs. Making tawaf round a grave would take them out of the fold of Islam and they would be committing shirk.

ANSWER: Shirk destroys all good deeds. If one repents and reverts to Islam, Allah restores his good deeds back.

QUESTION: Can I visit the graveyard of awliya and ask forgiveness from ALLAH for him. Like for example ‘’ Ya ALLAH forgive his sins as he was a righteous person’’.

ANSWER: It is permissible to visit the graveyards to make duaa for the dead Muslims unless it is a shrine or a dargah where people worship such people as this is clear shirk.

ANSWER: You can give him dawah diplomatically, with wisdom, knowledge and fair preaching but you cannot forcefully take it out as its not your right.
