Sheikh, I read a hadith in which it was mentioned poor people will enter Jannah 500 years before rich. So, is it better to be middle class in this world? What if one makes a lot of money but more than half of it he spends it for the sake of Allah? Will he also be considered rich? Please provide a detailed answer.

Sheikh I heard a hadith about saying when a person is yet to die his/her place will be shown to him/her before death (whether it is hell/heaven). Is it authentic? Please clarify.

ANSWER: This is not authentic.

I know a hadith which says, say 3 times Allhumma Inni Asalukal Jannah and 3 times Allahumma Ajirni Minan Naar. Instead of saying Allahumma Inni Assalukal Jannah, can I say Allhumma Adkhilni Jannatil Firdous

Sheikh is this correct that if one believes in Allah(SWT) and not commit shirk and belives that prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is His final messenger then no matter what one does he will ultimately enter paradise?

ANSWER: This is in Allah’s hands! If such an individual didn’t pray a single prayer, he is not Muslim. If he committed one of the things that nullify Islam, he will abide in hell for eternity.

What will be the fate of the people who are Muslims, pray and pay zakat etc but don’t seek knowledge?

ANSWER: This is in Allah’s hands! As long as a person has correct aqeedah, does not associate partners with Allah, prays, fasts and does the obligatory things then he is on the straight path and will be dealt accordingly by the mercy of Allah.

I am just a normal simple muslim. I pray, fast and only believe in Allah. I do not preach Islam. I do not fight for Islam. I just do dhikr of Allah alot….. Is this enough to enter Jannah?

ANSWER: No, this is not mentioned.

I heard that Allah said that come to me with however many sins you have, but if you don’t do Shirk, I’ll forgive you. But then I hear no matter how pious you are, misbehaving to parents will get you to Hellfire. Also that woman who behaved badly with neighbour, and that other one who locked a cat in a room and it died, they all went to Hellfire. Why they weren’t forgiven?

ANSWER: Ahlu sunnah wal Jama’ah believes that whoever comes to Allah with sins other than shirk, they are up to Allah’s Devine will; if He wills it, they are forgiven and if He doesn’t will it, they will do their time in hell.
