QUESTION: I know a teacher who himself seems to have a correct Aqeedah, however he regards the “Ashari Madhab” to be a” Sunni Madhab” and teaches in a center together with “Asharis”. Is it permissible to learn Fiqh from this teacher while not learning from the “Asharis” there?

ANSWER: You should limit your learning to those who are from Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama’ah and not from people with corrupt aqeedah even in matters of fiqh.

QUESTION: Shaykh, I am a student of knowledge and I want to become an engineer. Is this disliked? I fear I will have to study very hard and spend much time. I want to become a scholar and I want to refrain from studying worldy things. Is my mindset extreme or correct? QUESTION: I am a revert, my husband is born muslim. We live in a rural town in a non Muslim country. I am homeschoing our children and we own a successful business Alhamdulilah. But there are no muslims within 2 hours of us. And no masjid unless we drive over 200km. Is it permissible that we continue to live here or should we move for the sake of Allah?
