QUESTION: Sheikh while praying in congregation if we see someone doing innovation in their prayer or any mistake can we tell them after the prayer and where is this in quran and sunnah or should we focus on our prayer at all times and not pay attention?

ANSWER: This is highly recommended if you have the knowledge and the diplomacy and wisdom.

QUESTION: I know a teacher who himself seems to have a correct Aqeedah, however he regards the “Ashari Madhab” to be a” Sunni Madhab” and teaches in a center together with “Asharis”. Is it permissible to learn Fiqh from this teacher while not learning from the “Asharis” there?

ANSWER: You should limit your learning to those who are from Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama’ah and not from people with corrupt aqeedah even in matters of fiqh.

QUESTION: Shaykh, I am a student of knowledge and I want to become an engineer. Is this disliked? I fear I will have to study very hard and spend much time. I want to become a scholar and I want to refrain from studying worldy things. Is my mindset extreme or correct? I mean scholars like Bin Baaz, Al albani, and Fawzaan didn’t study worldly things (to my knowledge).

QUESTION: I’m from Bangladesh & want to migrate to UK’s Muslim community as they’ve better madrasa and female can join the masjid . Here we can’t. my potential husband doesn’t want to migrate. ANSWER: It’s not permissible to migrate from a muslim country to a non muslim country without a valid reason! And your reason is not valid!

QUESTION: I am a revert, my husband is born muslim. We live in a rural town in a non Muslim country. I am homeschoing our children and we own a successful business Alhamdulilah. But there are no muslims within 2 hours of us. And no masjid unless we drive over 200km. Is it permissible that we continue to live here or should we move for the sake of Allah?

ANSWER: It would be best if you could move to a Muslim neighbourhood and be near a masjid and an Islamic center where your family can be near Muslims and seek proper Islamic knowledge.

ANSWER: You can give him dawah diplomatically, with wisdom, knowledge and fair preaching but you cannot forcefully take it out as its not your right.

QUESTION: Sheikh, is bayyah(pledge of allegiance) an innovation? My friend’s brother said that it is shirk, is it?

ANSWER: If you mean bayyah to scholars (which is mostly done in the subcontinent) then this is not permissible as its an innovation. Bayyah is only given to a Muslim ruler.
