I heard people say when you are really upset, read random page in quran and you will find a message from allah which will definitely heal you and doing so increases your faith and trust in allah..and i also heard many of them say it worked with them..this is also something that christians do with their bible..is it allowed to do so or is it haram as it resembles the way of christians ??

ANSWER: One must not do this, as it is like drawing the lots and it is disrespecting the Quran. Recite the surah seeking comfort and it shall comfort you with the grace of Allah but not to find an answer or to tell you what to do!

Is reading the manzil authentic, many people in india read this to protect themselves from evil eye, sorcery etc

Sheikh my question is that when we are reciting or listening to a naat( a naat is a poetry that speaks well of Holy Prophet SAW) are we supposed to send blessing on prophet Muhammad SAW each time we hear his name? Because if we could then, reciting the naat becomes very difficult, and all the people I see reciting naat, they don’t send blessings when reciting it?

ANSWER: You have to recite the durood upon hearing the name of the prophet salla alaihi wasalam. Be careful as such naat may contain shirk when they exaggerate in praising the prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam.

I say the durood ibrahim after the regular morning and evening doas. Specillay after the saidul istighfar. Beacasue as I know its necessary to send salawat upon our prophet ( sw) in our duas. So, it is ok to do this after the morning and evening duas?

Sheikh my question is, after I have prayed Quran and some Zikr, I will pray for the reward to be passed on to my deceased father and other deceased people I know(friends and family). I would like to know in your opinion does the reward reach the deceased?

ANSWER: You can make dua for the deceased anytime you want but associating it with after reciting the Quran or dhikr is an innovation and it is not permissible.

My Ustadh said that whenever we take a Ghusl, and the water that we are going to use must not go enter the water cotainer, for example is i will take a Ghusl in a bowl or a water container, then i will get a scoop, then the water that i use in scooping must not hit or enter on the container because the water on it will become Najis,and we cannot use anymore, is this true?

ANSWER: What he has said is absolutely baseless and wrong! The water doesn’t become najis due to this and no problem whatsoever in using the same water for ghusl.

In messenger group my 4-5frineds everyday gives task like today read 25verse of quran,say 100times astagfirullah etc & whoever does this say done in group,(not that everyone must to do this,if someome didn’t do it’s their choice).they give task because mayb someone didn’t do it ever but after given task she mayb read some verse/dhikr then make it a habit.only for this purpose.is it permisible?
