QUESTION: Someone had given me some Qur’anic portion to read ,a sipara or maybe Panj Surah,and I told them that I had read it, thinking I would read it later. But I forgot what exactly they gave me and I didn’t read it. This has happened more than once. If I sincerely repent and ask Allah for forgiveness, will I be forgiven?

ANSWER: Why do they give it to you to read it in the first place? If its for khatam Quran etc then it’s not permissible for you to be part of such a gathering as it’s an innovation.

QUESTION: In subcontinent scholars say when Azan is called so person should sit peacefully if she/he is laying on a bed & don’t talk. Bcz it’s consider disrespectful to stretch legs Infront of elders in our culture, that’s why it’s disrespect in islamic rituals too.
