what I hv always seen in my family that if a person dies the family of the deceased order food called as bhati nd after the body is burried evry1 gathers and eat that food. It is basically made fr the people who comes from far off place to visit the funeral.some people don’t eat that food saying its bidah.is it right? How can a deceased family cook if they r sad?pls clarify

ANSWER: This is actually a biddah. The people should send food for the mourning family to help them out in their calamity and it should not be the other way around where people come and feast!

Coming .. June will be ….years after my father’s demise and I want to give sadaqa on his behalf. Is it wrong if I decide to do it on the day he passed away or I should do it on another random day?

ANSWER: The deceased suffers from their weeping and wailing but this is not a punishment from Allah but rather a hardship he suffers from like the hardship one suffers when traveling.
