Is it necessary for females to go to the house where some far relative have passed away.is it a good deed for them? here people go and start reciting quran which I know is biddah.so what females have to do after going there.

ANSWER: Going for condolences is permissible and part of upholding ties of kinship which is rewardable. You can spend 5-10 minutes reminding them to be steadfast. One must not gather with others or visit them at a specific time where all come and visit and gather in one place for condolences.

I lost my daughter about 2 years ago. I don’t complain to Allah in the least bit, but say “Alhamdulillah” and “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun”. Yet at times I feel saddened (but not wailing). Is it okay to cry for her? I’m worried that otherwise I may be considered unmerciful since the Prophet (SAW) did cry when he lost his children.

ANSWER: No problem, this is a natural human tendency to remember the loved one and cry for them, however bearing it with more patience will be more rewardable for you in the hereafter.

if a person dies as a bad person and if his relatives does dua and sadaqa for him will he be forgiven and counted as pious near Allah ?

ANSWER: He will be held accountable for his bad deeds, but sadaqa and other good deeds on his behalf will benefit him.

Is there any authenticity of giving surah yaseen, salat mats and tasbih to people in order to give sawab to the deceased? Does the dececeased receive any sawab by this custom? People here even gathers and cook food on every friday night for this( eesala e sawab). Whats the most authentic and genuine way of sending sawab to the deceased?

If we join in the middle of a funeral prayer, what should we do? Should we repeat the takbeer that we missed or should we say tasleem along with imam?
