Sheikh, so in my country some regions mix Islam with local beliefs like giving offerings which is obviously shirk, and a muslim kicked it which gives a bad label to the ummah in my country. How does a muslim treat things regarding other beliefs, and is kicking the offering considered correct Islamically ?

ANSWER: You must go back and give him the rest of the money. It might be cheap but Jannah is not! You don’t want to be held accountable for it on the day of judgement when you know that he had made a mistake.

Sometimes I talk with my non mahram aunties. who are same or near same age of my mom. I talk to them without looking at them but I smiles unintentionally. just normal talking how are you like this. not chit chat.. is it haram? my smile? major sin?

ANSWER: This is not permissible as Islam promotes and mandates segregation between non mahrams, no matter what the age.

If in a religious gathering people are discussing about shirk/kufr/bida’ah and I do not move out of the place thinking what the people would think of me if I leave or thinking that people would think bad of me then is this minor shirk and show off?

ANSWER: This is not shirk but shows your lack of iman. If they were slandering your mother or sister, would you have continued to sit there?

There is FB page that contains harmful statements against our religion. That person insult our Nabi, the Quran and Allah. So, I replied to one of his post asking him to refrain from insulting Islam and he started arguing with me, asking me to burn the Quran, prove me wrong and blah blah. I want to keep arguing until he stop posting bad stuff abt Islam. Should I keep going ? Or just ignore it

If my two relatives are fighting with each other and i have the ability to stop them and bring them closer but I don’t do anything about it will I be sinful?

Whenever I ask Allah for something exactly the same thing happens with someone other (like friends or family). It feels frustrating and sometimes I avoid them not like I am jealous but i don’t know why… Is it normal?

ANSWER: Your are thinking negatively of Allah and this is a major sin! You should love for your brother what you love for yourself. If you see your brother got something you like, you should give them dua by saying Allah’humma barik.

Is it permissible to read quran loudly when someone next to you is sleeping and feeling disturbed. Because it is the only time she rest and refresh her for activities from busy scheduled life.If sleep is disturbed she remain lethargic for the next time.What is the rulling on it?

ANSWER: It is not permissible to say such offensive statements to others as it is like cursing at them.

It has been difficult growing my beard because I’ve lost friends who mocked me, my own family always tell me to shave it, at bigger family gatherings I am always picked on for my beard and I even got rejected by a job and the man told me if I was to shave it I would of got the job. I ask for some words of advice sheikh that can ease this pain in my heart, I am only 19 recently started learn Islam

ANSWER: The prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and his companions were tested by far more sever tests than this and they were steadfast and didn’t budge!
