Sheikh My question is regarding my mother, There are times when she gets difficult, she talks about certain family topic thathas no relation to the present she keeps repeating them it is effecting her mentally. I have listened to her stories but i cannot anymore. I have no ways of solving her problems i dont want to be disobidient what can i do ?

If someone asks me out and I do not like that person romantically,don’t I have the right to say no? I know relationahip outside marriage is haram in islam but I just want to know if I am sinful for saying no and breaking that person’s heart. That boy blames me and says I changed his view but I was honest. Also if someone approaches me for marriage and I do not like him can I say no? Am I sinful?

ANSWER: A real Muslim woman doesn’t have a doubt that this is totally prohibited,. No muslim woman with dignity, honor and self respect would consider such invitations! Only ***** would go do such invitations and have such relationships!

One of my relatives recently showed someone how to use any online streaming app for cheaper price (like Netflix,star sports etc). But that relative of my mine passed away couple of days before. I want to ask if the other person continues to watch Netflix, will my relative be sinful for that?

ANSWER: You are sinful and this is a sign of hypocrisy! If he was insulting your parents, would you have just stood there listening to him?

Alhamdulillah I am always trying to be a better Muslim, people are easily trusting me with their affairs, I know myself as not deserving but it is Allah’s Test. I am scared to betray their trust too. Is there any Du’a or something I can do about the fear. Please advise.

ANSWER: Do your best not to betray their trust and to be better than they think of you for the sake of Allah and ask Allah not to expose your flaws and shortcomings.

Is it permissible to ask the girl you want to meet before proposal to dress in tight clothes (jeans etc) so you can get a picture of what kind of woman you’re marrying since due to fitna alot of men have desires for a particular body shape?

ANSWER: This is totally prohibited and you would be kicked out of the house and no father would ever let you in his house to meet his daughter for marriage! You might be better off going to the cattle market!

Is the hadith that says There will be a house in Jannah for those who give up arguing even if they’re right Authentic? So If I see someone saying something wrong & I disagree with them, Should I leave it on its own and not argue even if they’re wrong? I just wanna confirm if it is authentic so I won’t argue with anyone again over internet.

ANSWER: You should learn how to keep your distance from people and never to let your guard down. This way, even if you are stabbed in the back or betrayed, you were ready for that and won’t be hurt as much.
