I’m in a critical fix where i have to choose ALLAAH over my closest people in life. Obeying ALLAAH will cause their displeasure and i fear losing them. But i also know disobeying ALLAAH will make an ultimate loser. Obeying people include sin. How should i tackle this situation where i keep my duty to ALLAAH and don’t lose closest one, too? But choice must be made no other way out.

could you please assist me as how much a person should involve in society social gatherings if there are only women as how much level one can be joyful in a life.people think of me as boring person I don’t enjoy life much they say one cannot live like a Saint one has to involve in these parties.These women gathering where women laugh uncontrably they share weird jokes often I feel a bit strange.

ANSWER: No problem in having halal fun in segregated gatherings and laughing on halal jokes. The Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam said that the strong believer is more beloved and better than the weak believer. You should try to be positive and have your print and impact on places you are.

If a person did fraud on some companies, how should he return them the money if there seems to be no way to give it to them? Should a person go to the company or try to mail the money to them?

ANSWER: He should find a way to give back the money, even if it has to be done anonymously. If this is not possible, he must give it to poor and needy Muslims.

My husband told me that he confirmed from some aalim that the gold jewellery ‘he’ bought for me after marriage till date is not my possession but only his. He said he can take it permanently (not wearing) whenever he wants. What’s the ruling on this in Islam?

I have played a lot of video games since I was a kid, I think I used 3000+ hours playing video games. I found out that it was a waste of time, but it is so addicting to play with friends. ANSWER: You will be questioned on the day of judgement about your youth and time and where you had spent it! You must fear Allah and stop wasting time! It is permissible to occasionally play halal video games that do not contain music or inappropriate scenes or scenarios.

I have a question regarding the prominent hadith where it says that one should change evil with his hand then with his mouth and if he can’t do that he should condemn it with the heard. My question is what does that mean? Does hating the evil with the heart mean that one has to leave the place or is it just sufficient to condemn the haram actions that one sees? ‏

ANSWER: It means that he must condemn it in his heart and must leave that place and company.

I think presented my question wrongly. I am very aware of Surah 24:30.But I am confused that you said one can only look at a girl at the initial meeting. I thought if one is quite sure that the marriage will go through, one can look at the girl to make him go ahead based on the hadith of Jabir ibn Abdillah and others.Did is misunderstand the ahadith or what is the evidence that I am wrong?

ANSWER: A doctor is permitted to look at awrah only for a legitimate reason and at a specific place. Likewise, a man who wants to marry a woman, he proposes and he looks at her in the interview. Further looking is transgression and must not be done.

Someone’s father says God blessed him by giving him money and other things. While he earns from clear haram, such as intoxixants, gambling, lying. This does not seem like rizq Allah gave him as blessings but as tests. What should the son say in this case to his father who has clearly misunderstood this?

ANSWER: He should explain to his father that this is haram Rizq and Allah gives this to Muslims and disbelievers alike! However, this doesn’t mean it is halal or that Allah is pleased with it! It is like someone fornicating with a girl and says that this is Rizq from Allah!

Is it halal to chat with a non-mahram when necessary?
