QUESTION: At school, I used a metallic ruler and rub it against the table very fast and then press it against my friends to give them a burning sensation on their skin. These burns would sometimes leave marks on their skin as well. I have changed since then and I learnt about 70000 who enter Jannat without accountability, was what I did cautery and have I ruined my chance of being among the 70000?

ANSWER: No, this is not cautery but it was sinful for hurting them like this.

QUESTION: Is it true that Allah may choose to punish someone by exposing their sins to others? I sinned in the past and I feel extreme guilt and shame about it everyday as I severely regret it. I’m scared everyday that people may find out about it. How can I sincerely repent so that Allah conceals my sin? If Allah forgives me inshAllah or even if He doesnt, can I be sure that noone will find out about it?

ANSWER: There are no guarantees as this is in Allah’s hands. As long as you have sincerely repented to Allah while showing deep remorse and you didn’t expose your own sins in front of anyone, Allah will keep them concealed in sha Allah

QUESTION: When i see someone posts something haram like music or women online, I find it very embarrassing to advise them. I have a different account which is anonymous and then message them with it on there. Sometimes they don’t see the message.Is it wajib upon me to message them again on my personal account where they will more likely see the message.

QUESTION: If i am very obedient to my parents but now for 2 or 3 days i am not talking to them but i will talk to them soon, am i included in those in which a hadith says nothing will be accepted from those who are disobedient to parents, will my duas not be accepted currently.

ANSWER: You must immediately ask them for forgiveness and repent to Allah because Allah is angry with you until your parents are angry with you and Allah won’t forgive you until they forgive you!

ANSWER: Completely ignore her, block her from everywhere and never respond to her messages! Instead of guiding her to Islam as you claim, you should follow Islam yourself and fear Allah by stopping all haram communication with such a woman!

QUESTION: One of my Brit Christian friend from Uni has reverted to Islam. She was an actress & has now quitted & repented to ALLAH. But is worried about her old movies which has her nude pics/clips. She tried to remove it as much she could but couldn’t remove all as people have downloaded them. Is she sin full if people watch her pics/movies. Or has ALLAH forgiven all her sins as she has no control over it.

ANSWER: Once a revert enters islam, all their previous sins are automatically erased, except for stolen things If you are a male, it’s totally prohibited to have female friends!

QUESTION: If someone was in a haram relationship but did not commit Zina and sincerely repented from his/her sins, can they be considered chaste again?

ANSWER: This is the most miserly thing one can do! Cut all relations with such a person and leave her alone so that she can find someone better to befriend with! Wanting to deprive another Muslim from rewards from Allah is only shared with Satan who doesn’t want Muslims to get any good rewards.

QUESTION: A brother purchased a Udemy course using his Gmail account and shared the password with my friends for free access. Udemy prohibits account sharing. Is it permissible for me to access the course for free? Can I take note from those friends?
