QUESTION: The Quran says Allah forgives all sins but there’s a Hadith that says sins against others, they have to forgive you first. How do we reconcile these. Is the Quran verse just talking about sins against yourself or Allah?

ANSWER: Allah forgives all sins if He wishes including that which is related to people’s rights if Allah wills it though the norm is that one must give others his good deeds in exchange for what he had done to them.
