I am finding no interest in studying biology, maths and english. And I want to study Islam, but my parents want me to study the worldly science because there is a idea in the subcontinent that the scholars are usually poor and cannot earn much. I have not talked to them about these things, because they want me to become pilot,doctor etc.What should I do ? You know the situation of the subcontinen

There is no contradiction , you can study Islam and another major to please your parents. Besides, as long as they are paying, you must obey them.

I have plan to create a Religious facebook page and Spread the the message to the world Will it be counted as Dawa?? And I have a plan to use ur fathwas and ur videos and many other scholar’s videos in my page will u give permission to that??

It is dawah, but you have to make sure before spreading the deen that you get it from trustful scholars. You have my permission regarding my material.

Sheikh I study alot on Islam and comparative religion and I try to spread the knowledge I have and I usually debate with family or friends but they get offended when I reject their cultural beliefs which goes against Quran and hadis. They say that I shouldn’t ask deep question on Islam and shouldn’t study islam too much. They feel that I’m young to educate them, what is your advice? I’m 18 btw.

You must focus on learning Quran and sunnah and how to preach people with knowledge and wisdom. It is essential to walk the talk and to behave like a real Muslim who wants to guide people and not only to win an argument.

I seek to gain knowledge but I don’t know where to gain it from. Apart from the Quran, cannyou suggest any books by righteous scholars in english that I can read?

You need to learn the book of Tawheed, a simple commentary of the Quran and a short explanation of Fiqh. You can also refer to tafsir ibn Kathir, tafseer Abdurahman Ass’idi, tafseer of Abu bakr Al Jazai’iri.

I do not recommend to read alghazali books if you do not have knowledge, as he has a lot of mistakes in aqeeda and he included many weak hadeeths in his books. So, if you are not able to differentiate between what is correct and what is wrong then do not read his books.

I applied to islamic college in London and shia is a module but theres no subject of shia, and they have their own books but the structure looks professional to me but I can not decide if I should go because I heard the school is shia and I called them, they said if I want to be scholar I can start my studies there because they are academic.Advise me please
