QUESTION: Sheikh, i saw the videos in the link that you sent me and im still unsure of the answer. For example if i was from malaysia and i use a vpn for general security reasons but the vpn makes it look like i am from a different country for example brunei if i choose the brunei server. ANSWER: If there is any cheating or lying where you benefit from a service that the service provider would only grant if you were from a country other than yours, you would be lying and cheating and using VPN for that is prohibited.

QUESTION: We have a kafir govt. Am I allowed to evade electricity bills by tricking the current meter ?

ANSWER: You must avoid free mixing as they are non-mahram to you. Simply stand away from them. If you are asked, you can answer while lowering your gaze and limiting the conversation to the best of your ability.

QUESTION: Those who are tempted or invited by a haram woman but refrain for the sake of Allah will be shaded by Allah on the Day of Judgment. Does this also apply in modern contexts, such as resisting temptations and desires by avoiding explicit online content, despite the ease of access through websites and social media?

QUESTION: I accidentally touched another car while reversing. The damage is uncertain as i think they were already scratches. I left a note, but it may have blown away due to bad weather. It was a public hospital parking with no security or camera. Is there any sin or kaffarah? If i don’t find the owner must i give the price in charity ?

ANSWER: If there was damage done to the car then you should try to find the owner otherwise give that much amount in charity.

QUESTION: If someone ask or request me to do something & I reject, then they try to pressurize me by saying “For the sake of Allah or for the sake of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)” do it, in this situation what should I do???

QUESTION: What should I do when my mother tells me to recharge the Dish TV? I try not to watch TV, but she always shouts at me if I deny. I haven’t watched TV for the last 9 months because my Islamic teacher advised me to stop watching it. What is the Islamic point of view on this? Or if someone watches am I sinful for that?

ANSWER: You’ll be sinful if you know for sure she watches haram things on tv and you must not help her or assist her on that while trying to explain to her and being diplomatic at the same time.

QUESTION: I was saying that with some sheikhs you kind of fear doing or saying something wrong in front of them, because you know they really practice Islam well. So you don’t behave the same: if you’re usually very extraverted, making jokes even with the opposite gender, you won’t do it as much. And if you’re vulgar, you’ll watch your words. Is this fear bad or shirk?
