QUESTION: I came to know that it is arrogance to consider myself better than others. But how can I think myself same or below them who are smoking in front of me, watching haram videos, do free mixing? And when they do so what should my mind think of that? Please some advice…..

ANSWER: Don’t compare yourself to them and don’t think of yourself to be better or worse as this is in Allah’s Hands. Detest their sins but don’t see yourself better than them.

QUESTION: Is it permissible for a woman to train herself to be able to speak in a deeper voice such that people who hear it will think that it’s a different person, and then she will use this voice whenever she speaks to non-Mahrams to reduce the possibility of attraction?

ANSWER: This is not permissible nor needed. She simply uses a firm voice, without softening, when she has to speak with non mahrams.

QUESTION: Whenever there is family meet up, there is free mixing and I stay alone in my room because I abide by the hijab but neither my mother nor any other person bother to think that I’m alone in my room. I can’t stop thinking that closed And loved ones does not even want me to be surrounded by them by not free mixing, How to cope with this feeling

ANSWER: If you leave something for the sake of Allah then Allah will replace it with something better. Just have patience and keep being obedient to Allah while anticipating the reward only from Him.

ANSWER: It is prohibited to curse and those who curse will not be among those who intercede on the day of judgment.

QUESTION: Is it allowed to call my friends or siblings ” stupid ” , ” foolish “, “mad” just for fun? I don’t refer others using these words. I only use it for my close friends & my sibling. We don’t get hurt & its just for fun. Is it ok?
