My relatives have created a WhatsApp group for completing quran. Their is one admin in the group who gives daily 10 to 15 aayats to recite. Everyone will recite it and send notification that they have completed recitation. Is this practice correct according to sunnah and sharia. Please update me on this.

If a female either a teacher or a student of the Quran, is she allowed to touch the text during her periods. I heard some say that put the gloves on, some say, can touch the page n the cover but not the words.
