Sheikh, so basically im someone striving for jannat al ferdous, there is a hadith that says level in jannah will determined by how much you know the quran, does that mean we know to hafiz all the quran? Or the hadith means that we will read while seeing the verse?

ANSWER: It means that his recitation will take him high but there might be others who don’t memorize the Quran but are still higher than him.

When females do sujood at tilawat should we cover ourselves like for salah? Should we cover whole awrah from head to toes or can we do just as we were reciting?

ANSWER: No. You can simply do the sajda in whatever clothes you’re in.

Can a spous(female) recite surah e sajda or surah e mulk from mobile after having intercourse without taking ghusul(bath), And all other adhkar before sleeping without removing her ritual impurity?

ANSWER: It is permissible to recite these surahs as a form of adkhar and also permissible to do all the other adkhar. The prohibition is in reciting Qur’an during major sexual impurity for both men and women.

When listening or reading the Quran after Asr and before Maghreb or after Fajr and before Sunrise, can I prostrate when coming up a sajda or should I avoid reciding/listening to surats with a Sajda during those times?

ANSWER: No problem in doing sajda of tilawah during these times. The prohibition is only for praying voluntary prayers during forbidden times.

I would like to ask if it is proper to Say Bismillah when I am reading Quran that start in the middle part or when I’m reciting Ayatul Kursi? Or the 2 last surah of Al-Bakarah? I normally start from Audhobillahi Mina Saitani Rajeem whenever reading Ayatul Kursi or reading in the middle part.

ANSWER: What you’re doing is correct. You should say bismillah when starting a new surah.

If Non Muslims are not allowed to touch the Quran, how to do Dawah to them? Should we give them Quran with Arabic and translation or a copy having only the teanslation

ANSWER: You must not give just the Arabic text with translation, just give the transliteration and translation.

Some people in Masjid stopped me from reading Quran while someone is praying in front of me saying that their backs are towards Quran like its against the etiquettes of reading Quran. What is the correct opinion about this?

ANSWER: What they said is baseless. However you should not recite the Qur’an loudly as this would disturb others who are praying or doing dhikr, dua etc.

One said to me that laying legs to quran is not a good thing, so you should not do it. Is he is doing bida’ah right?, And if i tells him that he is doing bidah, how will i answer to him if he tells me that he is not doing innovation and says that this Ayah is what is his daleel” wa man yua’azzam sha’aaaaairAllaaahi fa innaha min taqwal qoloob” ?. How will i answer to him then?

ANSWER: There is nothing in the Quran and sunnah to prohibit this. However, if one’s feet are really close to the Quran, this is disrespectful. Pointing the feet towards the Quran is not prohibited or disrespectful if the Quran is far from your feet.
