QUESTION: Ruling on reserving first row spot in masjid if I come early to clean and lay carpets, but row fills before I finish? (also ramadan, reserving a spot while i eat iftar after serving iftar)

ANSWER: As long as you came first and sat there and did not leave the masjid, you are entitled of the position you first came for.

QUESTION: Mum was raised with ignorance of correct islam, yet still gave zakah ever since she 1st got good amt of gold 25 yrs ago. She gave acc. to Gregorian calender,didnt know when nisab was reached i.e, made errors but still gave every yr. She doesnt recall details of past yrs& made tauba now,Is this sufficient

ANSWER: She is about 8 months late on her zakat as every three Gregorian years there is about one month and a day or two difference with the lunar year. Therefore, if she pays her zakat about 8 or 9 months earlier form now on, she will be fine in sha Allah

ANSWER: This is your choice, however if you want to gain more rewards and get the perks of such sunnah adhkar then you should recite all the adhkars as they also act as a Fortress against evil for us

QUESTION: Can i divide a long surah in salah? I know it’s sunnah and not obligatory to recite a surah after fatiha, but I love reciting long surah. So, for example, I am reciting surah Rahman (which has 78 ayahs) in Fajar fard Prayer. Can I recite half in one rakah and other half in second rakah?

ANSWER: Yes, this is permissible

QUESTION: If someone is going to perform umrah, they have to arrange for food to the local people, imam will be reciting Fatiha and make congregational dua. People will make musafah with those who is gonna perform umrah. After fajr on the day of travel, Imam will visit the house, recite Fatiha and write some dua on the entrance wall of the house. Are these practices necessary?

QUESTION: I have prayed multiple days with trace of blood coming from back private part after answering call of nature (I am a man), not knowing if this blood was from inside or outside the body. It remained small little traces of blood after washing that I ignored to avoid irritating the area. are those prayers valid ? Can I keep on doing this ?

ANSWER: If the blood is from inside your anus, this is najis and you must wash it off before praying but if it’s from outside, it’s pure and does not have any impact on your prayer

QUESTION: Sheikh, when I make wudu at home and then put on long socks, I later wipe over them for ease when I renew my wudu. But when I’m outside, I always see people washing their feet instead of wiping over their socks. Is there more reward for washing the feet when it’s easy to do so, or is wiping over the socks equally rewarding?

QUESTION: In India, people say that if a person performs one Umrah, then it becomes fard on them to perform Hajj. So if I perform two Umrahs, it becomes fard on me to perform two Hajjs
