One man in our community has bought a grave in a public graveyard for him. Also he sometimes go there and make dua for him standing before his future grave. Is this permissible? Also in general just buying a place for grave in public graveyard before death permissible?

How to respond to Super Sufis/Shias when they say excessive weeping over Hussain’s death or family loved ones death is not a Bidah because Prophet Yakub Peace Be Upon Him cried when he lost his son till he became blind. And prophets are infallible so they can’t do anything wrong.

ANSWER: This is not from the sunnah but a request from one of the companions of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam to his children.

My question is about sadaqah jariyah. I set up a link to raise money through donations so I can build a water well on behalf of my grandmother. Is this valid? as I’ve been told it has to be her own money or children’s money. I would like to know which information is authentic as I would love to get all the help since I cannot do it on my own or just with my family’s help.

There is a Hadith where the Prophet was with the companions and 2 funerals passed by them (1 good and 1 bad), and in both cases the Prophet said “وجبت” because the people provided witness, My question is, In my country, if one raise hands during takbeer, keeps hand on their chest, they might think this is wrong and say bad things about the person’s after demise,

ANSWER: You have to follow the Sunnah no matter what the people might say or think. If the people of sins and innovation praise a deceased who was like them, do you think that he would be from the people of paradise due to their testimony? Of course not as their testimony is useless!

A Prominent Muslim Scholar of BD died yesterday. He made Wasiat when his death news reaches, people should recite Surah Fatiha (1x) & Surah Ikhlas (3x) & then offer Dua for him. Is not it an innovation? Many Muslims are following it. Plz advice us. Is it permissible to make Dua without reciting Surah?
