QUESTION: My teacher is taking internal exam and quiz will be on our phone . Can I cheat in this exam ? as him taking on phone simply signifies that we can look. Some teacher take this internal exam just for formality and I think he is one of them.

QUESTION: I have a friend who casually keeps singing English songs, all in their accent and all..I try 2 tell her tht dis is imitating the disbeliever, so kufr. She says its allowed to sing without instruments. How should I advise her? This is kufr right?

ANSWER: This is not kufr. You are not allowed to speak without knowledge like this as this is one of the most heinous sins in Islam according to 7:33 If you are a male, you must break all communication with her as it is not permissible to be “friends” with the opposite gender.

QUESTION: Sheikh, who is to blame for rpe? In our society, many blame women, saying it’s their fault for not wearing the veil. Some even say angrily that women are responsible for being rped. However, most victims are innocent women and children. Is a woman to blame for being rped? What does Islam say about this? Does rpe happen because women do not wear the veil?

ANSWER: The r*pist is to be blamed for his heinous crime. The woman is blamed for not following the Islamic law of hijab and modesty but this doesn’t incriminate her and change her from a victim to a perpetrator!

QUESTION: Many have wronged me, slandered me, and taken away my rights. I know that on the Day of Judgment, those who behave this way toward others will be compelled to give their good deeds to the oppressed. Now, should I refrain from forgiving them and take their good deeds instead? Or should I forgive everyone for the sake of Allah? Which will be better for me on the Day of Judgment?

QUESTION: Is there any justification acceptable regarding power theft by any means such as tempering in meter, taking direct connection from main line, using domestic connection for commercial purposes? People are justifying their act by saying that electricity is very expensive, other people are also not paying bills, there is excessive load shedding etc.
