I bought quran feew weeks back and kept it in the prayer room so that when others recite i can also get the benefit . But now one of my colleagues wants a quran for his mother can i take the same quran and give him or i must a new one. Whats the correct way?

ANSWER: If you had given it to that masjid or prayer hall as waqf and for the sake of Allah so that you have nothing to do with it, you can not go back on it and give it to your friend.

There are seven Qurans in my house of which some are not used for recitation. Am I sinful if those Qurans are kept unrecited?

Sheikh, what is more rewarding and important? To learn Arabic so I could understand the Qur’an or to memorize it? I want to do both but finding it difficult to do both at the same time…

Can woman in their menses recite Surah IKHLAS before going to bed? I heard that they can, but instead of beginning with “Qul huwa Allahu ahad” they should begin “huwa Allahu ahad”

ANSWER: Women in their menses can recite all the adhkar without any problem. What you have heard is absolutely baseless and fabricated! You must recite all the surahs normally.

if people do innovations like quran khatm and tasbeeh for the deceased etc. Will the deceased be punished for it in the grave?
