What can i do if i missed salahs knowingly after the age of puberty and now feel sorry for doing such and want to make this up. Should I calculate the amount of prayers i missed and make them up?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. Do a lot of good deeds and voluntary worship besides fulfilling all the obligatory ones. It’s best to maintain all the 12 sunnah rawatib and night prayers.

Upon travelling on the plane to hometown it was zuhr time but due to hardship in standing & pray & facing the qiblah,I delayed zuhr till asr as I knew I would reach home when there will still be time for asr.I combined zuhr and asr prayer.Praying zuhr as two rakah and praying 4 rakahs for asr as I reached home.Did I do wrong delaying the zuhr & praying 2 rakah for zuhr instead of 4 with asr prayer

ANSWER: What you did was wrong. You should have offered 4 rakah thuhur and 4 rakah asr as you had reached your hometown and can’t shorten your prayers anymore. Repeat your thuhur now.

Sheikh if i miss the sunnah prayer before fajr prayer what is the best time to pray it or I should leave it and would I get the same reward as someone who prayed it before fajr prayer

ANSWER: No problem in praying it after fard if he had missed praying it before fard. It won’t be the same reward as praying it on time.

Everytime when I wipe my head in wadu i see no or very less water left in fingers so can I still wipe my ears with it or I have to take new water

ANSWER: Yes, providing this is not in the masjid as she is not permitted to enter a masjid.

When it is time to pray isha my quran teacher waits till we are done with the lesson. Which is 30 minutes or more after the iqama of isha was given. Then he tells us to pray. Is it permissble to do this?

ANSWER: What she is doing is baseless. You can pray as soon as the time for isha enters, regardless of when the athan is given or when the iqamah or congregation begins in the masjid.

I wasn’t sure if I recited a second surah after Fatiha while praying. I wasn’t certain/sure I forgot it but had more the feeling that i forgot so a recited an second surah. Is this permissable? And is my prayer valid?

ANSWER: It’s valid even if you recite two surahs intentionally.

If a couple got a proper Nikah but the man didn’t pray although he didn’t know the ruling on abandoning salah and assumed himself to be a Muslim, is the marriage valid and are the children that resulted from the marriage legitimate. What if the man had weak general beliefs? What should the kids do if they grew up with and were raised by this figure their whole life?

ANSWER: If he was considered muslim and was not labeled by scholars to be a disbeliever, the marriage is valid but he must pray now or she must leave him if he doesn’t.

Dear Sheikh,my sister does the ghusl 2 sometimes 3 days after she’s done with her period out of laziness.Then she takes it and prays.She feels guilty for this,but due to her low iman she is reckless.Does this behaviour take her out of fold of islam and does she need to make up for the prayers she was supposed to pray right after her period ended?

Sheikh in pakistan the athaan of asr is given late .So as being a woman I don’t have to pray in congregation so sheikh what is best to pray , at its actual time or after the athaan?

ANSWER: You can pray as long as the time has entered, irrespective of when the adhan is given in the masjid.
