QUESTION: I was assigned by my Fajr group to wake others up for Fajr and to confirm by writing ‘done’ afterward. However, if I miss Fajr myself, I fail to write ‘done,” which makes others realize that I missed the prayer. Is this considered an indirect disclosure of my sin, and would it be haram?

ANSWER: This is not exposing your sin as you had overslept it and not intentionally missed it.

QUESTION: I am gonna live in a hostel from next month onwards for my engineering degree. But the hostel is in a very remote region and there is no mosque nearby, upto 10km. What’s the best solution for me to pray namaz ??

ANSWER: If you have other Muslim brothers in the hostel, you guys should hold congregation and pray, if its not possible then you can pray all the prayers on time by yourself.

QUESTION: Is it a legitimate reason to not go to the mosque if there is a situation that the government forces the youth to go to the army if security forces find a person going outside from the time of maghrib upto fajr and family is forcing their children to not go out

ANSWER: If the situation is as you have described & you don’t go out anywhere at all and stay home the whole night after maghrib then yes, you can pray home

ANSWER: As long as their hand is touching the ground, the prayer is valid but they are missing on the sunnah for not placing their palms on the ground.

ANSWER: This is totally unacceptable as praying it before the athan time is not valid and delaying the athan so that you can offer them home is betrayal of trust! Perform the athan and then offer it in the masjid like all Muathins around the world do!
