QUESTION: Shaykh Please is a person’s prayer valid when he is in sujud without his palms touching the floor or with his fingers excluding the palms as I have seen so many people doing that but still do it?

ANSWER: As long as their hand is touching the ground, the prayer is valid but they are missing on the sunnah for not placing their palms on the ground.

QUESTION: Sometimes am the one who make Athan at our masjid at the Sametime i have to pray four 4⃣ raka’s before dhuhur and I like praying them at home and then I go to the masjid and make Athan so my question is, is it wrong I mean what am i supposed to do first Sheikha

ANSWER: This is totally unacceptable as praying it before the athan time is not valid and delaying the athan so that you can offer them home is betrayal of trust! Perform the athan and then offer it in the masjid like all Muathins around the world do!

QUESTION: What if the floor is disgusting because the masjid never runs a vacuum cleaner and people routinely sneeze in the carpet (the state of some masajid in egypt), can i put my forehead to the ground and avoid letting the tip of my nose touch in such extenuating circumstances

ANSWER: Of course not! Either you pray properly or stay home. You can bring a mat with you and pray on it though it is not recommended and not from the sunnah!

ANSWER: The hands are to be raised where the tips of the fingers would be next to the ears and the hands would be next to the shoulders.

QUESTION: If I enter the mosque when there is only one or two minutes left before the Fajr prayer begins, and I know I won’t have enough time to pray two rak’ahs of Tahiyyatul Masjid, can I just sit down and wait for the congregational prayer? Is that permissible?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. You must not sit until you pray tahiyatul masjid. You can remain standing till the prayer begins.

QUESTION: If I’m praying tahiyatul masjid and im in tashahudh and iqamah has been started and i know that i can complete my prayer before the imam says first takbir so should i continue my prayer or break it when the iqamah starts.

ANSWER: Saying it three times is from the sunnah. However, saying it once also suffices (as this is the minimum mandatory dhikr) and sky is the limit beyond three.

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible as its an innovation.

QUESTION: One of the rooms in my home is adjacent to the toilet, if one faces the qibla, he may face the toilet though there is a wall as a barrier. I keep getting thoughts that I cannot pray in that room as it may be unsuitable, although sometimes when there are guests or noise in other rooms, it may the calmest one. Should I, or the person whose room it is, avoid praying in it?
