ANSWER: It is not permissible to watch anything haram whether it is time for the athan or not! Allah is watching you and listening to what you are listening to all the time.

QUESTION: Months ago during prayer, after the first rak‘ah I mistakenly sat for tashahhud, then stood up and completed the salah. I performed sujood as-sahw before tasleem, but later repeated the salah again just to be safe, without asking anyone. Should I do anything now?

ANSWER: If you hadn’t started reciting Attahiyat when you first sat, there was no need to do sujood as sahu and you should have prayed normally. It was totally wrong to have repeated the salah.

QUESTION: Is praying on home clothes or pijama permissible? These are clothes we would never use on the masjid or ocassions, but they are the most comfortable specially at home. Is this disrespectful as we are standing before Allah?

QUESTION: Before prayer I ate a date and in prayer I felt the skin of the date the very thin one like paper stuck in my tooth. So I tried to remove it with tounge and accidentally swallowed it. Does this break prayer since its very small

QUESTION: Sheikh when a person is a traveller and he combines Magrib and Isha right after the Magrib Adhan and before the Isha Adhan can he also pray Witr after he prays Isha which would be before the Isha Adhan or should he still wait until the Isha Adhan is called to pray Witr?

QUESTION: I am a 19 yr old man, live with my parents and siblings. I would like to pray fajr in the masjid, and although I havent asked, I am 99% certain my father would not allow it. Do I still get the ajr for sitting on my prayer mat and remembering Allah until after sunrise, and praying two raka’aat?

ANSWER: No! It applies only when you’re in the masjid! And you’re an adult now and you don’t need your father’s permission to go out! You must pray in the masjid as this is mandatory for you if the masjid is within the vicinity of your home.

QUESTION: If I am praying on my own, and while praying, a group comes and forms congregation and starts praying but I continue praying on my own without joining them, is my prayer valid?
