QUESTION: While standing from ruku imam has to say Samiallahu liman hamidan and we had to say rabana lakal hamd. so do we have to say it at the same time while imam saying Samiallahu… From ruku to standing Or after he finishes then while straight standing?

QUESTION: Missed 2 rak with d imam,I joined him whn he ws sayin d takbeer 2 rise 2 d 3rd rak,then I thot mybe he was not erect nd I ws standin(standin before he stood),so I broke my pryr,then started again nd I didnt complete my fatihah and he said takbeer(fearin not completin the fatihah) I broke my pryr again nd joined him again nd continued my pryr. ANSWER: Its not permissible to keep breaking your prayer like that!! Once you start or join the prayer, you must continue!

QUESTION: Once during a Jumuah prayer,the mic of the mosque malfunctioned and we couldn’t hear anything,only bits of sounds were coming every now and then.As the people on the upper floors couldn’t see the imam, they improvised based on the bits they could hear.I was in the 2nd floor, without knowing what to do I followed them.I don’t know if the prayer was valid. What should we have done in such situation?

ANSWER: Its valid as long as you all did your due diligence. If you cannot know what position the imam is in at all then you can continue to pray on your own and finish the prayer

QUESTION: When I am in a position of tawarruk and the likes, or if I do sujood, during prayer my dress is lifted a little since my feet are lifting my dress. Is that exposing my awrah? My dress is long and covers the feet but when I do these positions it doesnt cover my feet (but I have socks). I feel like though this can’t be avoided.

QUESTION: If the prayer in congregation is finished in the nearest mosque, is it mandatory to go to other mosque around to see if they haven’t finished to pray yet ?

ANSWER: No. You can join the 2nd jamah the latecommers make or if there isn’t one then pray on your own in the same masjid & some others may come & join you

QUESTION: We (ladies) were praying Taraweeh in the masjid behind the imam. During prayer, a woman returned after wudu and crossed in front of us to rejoin the row despite being stopped. Does this invalidate our prayer? Do I need to repeat the prayer and witr as well? It’s been few days since it happened. If yes, Do I need to perform now?

ANSWER: No, this does not break the prayer because the Imam is the sutra for the entire congregation.

QUESTION: I am a muslim women who works at a hospital, i only get an half an hour break for lunch break around 12.30pm, and sometimes i have to work till 6 or i am travelling back home during asr or maghrib time, is it permissible to combine my prayers

ANSWER: This is not permissible. You must pray on time and can pray anywhere in an empty room by taking a 5 min bathroom break.

QUESTION: I got sick three weeks ago and missed multiple prayers (I had a fever/flu and inconsistent sleep but wasn’t bedridden or unconscious). I kept delaying praying those prayers and haven’t prayed them yet. Do I pray those missed prayers and all subsequent prayers until today, or pray the missed prayers only, or are they gone as I kept delaying them?

ANSWER: They are gone and you cannot make up for prayers that were missed deliberately as Allah will not accept them from you.

QUESTION: Regarding shortening of prayer. Can I combine and shorten isha with maghrib before starting journey?
