QUESTION: One day while praying ‘Asr in the mosque, the Imam mistakenly sat in the 3rd rakah and recited Tashahhud. I initially got up and stood but later sat down again when I saw that the Imam did not rise up for the “4th rakah” but I did not recite the tashahhud in the 3rd rakah like the Imam. The Imam along with everyone of us offered sujood-as-sahw before concluding the prayer. Did I do anything wrong?

ANSWER: Smoking is prohibited but it won’t render one’s prayers unaccepted as it is not intoxicating like wine and drugs.

ANSWER: No. It is permissible to pray in the prayer hall but it is less in reward.

QUESTION: If i slept and when i woke up it ws past asr time, am i included in category of people whose deeds r made void and whats meant by sleeping over asr in the hadith?

ANSWER: If you had missed it deliberately, the answer is yes. If you missed any prayer due to sleep, you are not sinful. You must immediately make up that prayer.

QUESTION: If someone crosses in between my prostration and I could not stop him is my prayer invalid?Should I stop and restart?

QUESTION: Since I make lots of dua before salam, I keep repeating some duas thinking I might not have recited them and thus taking way too longer than an average Muslim would take. Will it be a problem?

QUESTION: Do we have to make Wudhu after eating Camel’s meat even if we are not going to pray or only when we have to pray ?

ANSWER: When a person passes wind, he doesn’t have to make wudhu. Only when he wants to pray, he is obliged to make wudhu. Likewise when eating camel’s meat.

QUESTION: My question is if i pray and make wudu and intended to do masah on socks so i wear socks then when its zuhar time i do not pray zuhar and when its time for asr prayer then i do masah on socks on asr can i do masah to isha prayer.

ANSWER: You are sinful for abandoning dhuhr as this is a major sin in Islam. You can wipe over your socks as long as you put them on in a state of Wudu for up to 24 hours (resident) from when you first started wiping on them.
