Sheikh my maternal grandmother had gold enough for zakat but didn’t had money. The times did not change either and then she left us. Now her gold has been distributed among her children, my mother wants to know if she can give zakat of that gold which her mother had?

Is my prayer valid if i only pray 4 rakat fard for zuhr and only 4 rakat fard and 3 rakat witr for isha?

In my little knowledge I Know, in Islam, it is said that when we will do zikr, there should be movement of the lips. But when friends are sitting together or walking on the road or while sleeping at night sometimes is not possible to movement of the lips. So, if this kinds of situation,we do zikr without moving lips it will be valid ? May Allah bless you Sheikh.

ANSWER: You must at least move your tongue. Without it, this would be like intrusive thoughts that have no impact or value.

When a dangerous animal comes in front of me, then I am allowed to leave my namaz and move away. But what if I am in congregation? Am I allowed then? Can I pass in front of other prayers to move do a different row, and when I move do I restart my prayer or do I continue praying from where I was before?

I sometimes forget to repeat after the adhan after one or more parts of it were called, should i repeat where it is currently at during the adhan or start from beginning? And if another adhan is called should i start repeating?

At esha prayer in congregation, I forgot to recite surah Fatiha at the last rakah of the prayer. What should i do in that situation?

ANSWER: Pray 1 more rakah and do sujood as sahu after salam and make another set of salam after sujood as sahu. If you did not do that, your prayer is invalid and you must repeat it now.

Can the zakat distribution personnel be paid wages?

ANSWER: This is permissible if they are working for an institution or the government but these wages are not paid from the zakat itself except when given out by the muslim ruler only.
