ANSWER: Men can pray even with sleeveless shirts. Women on the other hands must not and can’t expose more than the hand to their wrists. Anything over that would render the prayer invalid.

QUESTION: If I join a congregational prayer late (imam is on the last rakaah), do I include the “As-Salat Al-Ibrahimiya” in my tashahud as I would in my actual last rakaah, or is it not needed for this case?

ANSWER: Yes, you should say everything you usually say in the last tashahud until the salam

QUESTION: In dhuhr prayer,I joined when imam said samiallah huliman hamida of 2nd rakat.I continued with the 2 sujoods and tashahhud.Then the imam got up for his 3rd rakat.Since this 2nd rakat of imam will not be counted as my 1st,do I do raful yadain when he stands up for his 3rd rakat which will be my 1st rakat or should i do it when he finishes his salah and i standup for my 3rd rakat?

ANSWER: You should raise your hands when the imam stands for his 3rd rakah as this is the sunnah regardless of which rakah it is actually yours.

QUESTION: Can we feed animals using Zakat money? And will the Zakat be paid through that?

ANSWER: The animals are not one of the 8 categories mentioned in 9:60 (Quran) and hence this is invalid.

QUESTION: Some people silently recite along the imam when he recites a surah, is this permissible when for example you are behind him to correct him or this not permissible at all?

ANSWER: It is not permissible to recite with him the same surah. If they are reciting the fatiha while he is reciting his surah, this is permissible.

QUESTION: If I notice during the Isha prayer that I mistakenly made the intention for Maghrib due to confusion, and I am already in the 3rd rak’ah, do I have to stop, or can I correct my intention in the middle?

ANSWER: If you had intended it to be maghreb and you had already prayed Maghreb, your prayer is invalid and you need to restart it again for isha.

QUESTION: We know that in third or fourth rakah prayer after rising up from first attahiyat we need to raise our hands(rafa yadain). But when should i raise my hands when i will join the prayer in second or third rakah?

ANSWER: Raise them when the imam raises them which is when the Imam rises up to his third rakah.

QUESTION: After finishing my fard prayer i moved a step aside to start pray sunnah prayer. Then for nafl prayer whether i can pray on the same place (where i prayed my sunnah prayer) or i have to move again as i did after finishing fard prayer ? And the answer will be applicable for ladies too ?

ANSWER: You can pray on the same spot or wherever you like because the ruling is only for sunnah prayer right after fard. And the ruling is same for both genders.

QUESTION: According to sunnah, how many rakats do we have to pray for Jummah prayer? Here, we are told to pray 4 sunnah, 2 farz, 4+2 sunnah, 2 nafl.
