Zakat is fard on me, I want to ask you regarding the Zakat on Cow’s as I have bought 8 cows 4 months back to sell them at the time of Eidul Adha. Do I need to pay Zakat on them and at what rate should I calculate it, is it on the purchase price?

Yes, the amount of money you bought it with must have a due date for zakat, once this date is due, calculate the values of these cows along with your cash and give 2.5% zakat on it.

I paid zakat al fitr a week before Eid. But I came to know that its not valid, I have to pay it again as the correct time to pay when people go for Eid Salah. My doubt is, what if I do not find any poor person to pay it at that time. To avoid risk, can I pay it when the Eid day is announced in the evening of last ramadan? Thanks. i have seen many muslims especially in India and Pakistan they do di’kr loudly after ever fard salah. Many say its bid’at and must not be practiced.plz provide the ruling on this issue.

Can we give zakat ul fitr to an authentic muslim orphanage?

This seems permissible providing they are poor and only these orphans would eat from it and not their teachers and staff.

My question is that if someone is praying and he doesn’t have anything kept in front of him then from how far can we pass in front of him and if someone tries to pass in front of us while praying can we stop him with our hand ?
