I’m a new muslim and I was just wondering when doing morning prayer can you pray in your pyjamas or do you have to get dressed into your prayer clothes?

No problem if they’re clean. If you’re a man then you have to change and then go to the masjid.

In fard prayer when I find the imam in rukuh I don’t join him there rather wait for him to go to sujood and then I join him. Because I know that without fatiha my rakah is invalid. But I have also heard you saying if I join during rukooh my rakah is valid. Which one is corrert?

Whenever you enter the masjid, you must join the Imam regardless of the position he is in. If you manage to perform ruku while he is in ruku, this Rakah is valid.

A few of my friends with some other people in their university are fundraising to provide water and sanitation to the rohynga in our country.They are also trying to build a mosque for them(I dont know if there will be any bidah or not committed in that mosque).The funds are combined.Can the money of zakah be sent to them.

Zakat money must not be used to build masjids or dig wells.

I follow a hanifi salah timetable.Fajr starts at 5.30 can I read witr at 5.15 after tahajjud

This depends when Fajr is due. You must not depend on the Hanafi timetable as their Fajr and Asr are wrong and not according to the sunnah.

i play sports for a local club on satuerday sometimes we play against opposition far away in the village , here there is no mosque so I have to pray at the ground either on my own or with a few lads if i can convince them to pray. Is this permissible?

No problem in delaying the aqiqa, it is against the sunnah but not sinful.

I’m pregnant. I offer salah while sitting on chair. I offer Sajdah on a cushion placed on table. Purpose of cushion is 2 raise the height of table as I can’t bend more. Is it permissible to offer Sajdah on soft cushion ?

You don’t have to offer your sujud on a cushion, but you must make your sujud by bending more than ruku’ while placing your hands on your knees.

sheikh, I came late to the congregation in the masjid and joined the congr. in the second row and missed a Raka’ or two. The guy who was praying in front of me (in the front row) stood and went away after the congr. finished while I was still making up my missed Raka’s. Please confim: (1) Is the guy sinful; major or minor? (2) Is my prayer valid? Do I have to repeat?

The man is not sinful as he is not obliged to wait for you, and your salah is valid.

Sheikh, If we reach the Salatul Jama’h, when Imam uters Salaam should we stand up and complete the missed Rukaat or we should wait for Imam to uter the second Salaam we stand up. Right now we are doing like this Is this is okay?

Ya shaykh when I was 18 years old I worked and earned £4,800 yearly for seven years between 1987-1994. I don’t remember paying zakat so what should I do?
