I have a relative.she has 6 kanal land but of very low price.her husband passed away and have 4 sons at home.2 of them working earning each 15 thousand the other 2 are not working .1 is married and have a family as well.they have sisters but all are married except 1 …they pass the month with difficulty. Can I give zakat to them ?the land they have is fertile but not fulfilling their needs…..

ANSWER: If they are Muslims and classified by others to be poor or needy and they are unable to complete the month with the earnings they have, you can give them from zakat.

The aqiqah that is done on the 7th day for a new born, Is it permissible to shave off the hair of a baby girl? As i heard one shouldn’t shave the hair of a baby girl’s head.

ANSWER: There’s a difference of opinion among Scholors about this but I go with the opinion that says that girls hair should also be shaved.

while praying the namaz behind imam in masjid is it obligatory to repeat the rakah if we join in the ruku.

ANSWER: If you and the Imam were in the ruku position at the same time, this is a valid Rakah.

Is it permissible to make dua in the end of our fard salah when offered in congregation(jamaat) this only delays saying of salam to both sides by 1-2 minutes after imam said salam(to conclude prayer)

ANSWER: One minute is a lot! You can delay it for 20 or 30 seconds but not for too long!

My Mother put her house for sale on january 2018 and sold the house on February 2018 and kept the money. She now lives with me. She pays her regular zakah every Ramadan. So my question is: does she pay the zakah on the money she got from her house this Ramadan or the next year´s Ramadan?

Some old men raise their pants above stomach, as a result the pant seems to be hugging private part while doing sujood. If they consider that lowering the pant is todays fashion and don’t want to do it, how can we advice thm in this regard?

ANSWER: No need to advise them if they are comfortable in wearing that way. One must not wear tight trousers but the prayers are valid

Shaykh, we have two Jumu’ahs near my workplace, which one is better: To pray the first Jumu’ah even though I will be outside and will not hear any of the khutbah at all I will simply just pray the two rak’ahs, or pray the second jumu’ah inside the masjid and be able to listen to the entire khutbah?

Brother, during the Umra one has to do full salat or will shorten it if come from outside KSA i.e India? Can we perform sunnah/ extra salat or Tahajjud during Umra if stay in Mecca or Madinah?

ANSWER: If you’re praying in congregation, behind the Imam then you must follow him and pray in full. You can pray voluntary prayers and night prayers except for thuhur, Maghreb and Isha voluntary prayers.
