ANSWER: It is not from the Sunnah to pray sunnah prayers of dhuhr, maghrib and isha when traveling. Other than these you can pray any voluntary prayers you wish. It is highly recommended to pray sunnah of Fajr and Witr even during traveling.

ANSWER: It’s not mandatory, however, it is a highly recommended Sunnah which Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam never missed even when traveling. You can pray it after Isha or delay it later.
